I have decided to broaden my academic horizon in beautiful New Zealand. It´s nature is breathtaking, and I have met the Kiwis as openminded, welcoming and likeable people. My courses were enriching, interesting and formative. The exchange program has a huge impact on my further development, and it has been an incredible experience, never to be forgotten. II lea.hartmann96@gmx.de II

An abroad experience for a student, whether an exchange program or internship, can be a plenteous period of time. Therefore, I decided to do my internship in Vienna, which brought me many new ideas that it tended me to take green building as my 6th semester in FH Campus in Vienna. Getting to know green building gave me a clearer vision about ongoing architectural themes, such as eco-friendly structures. On my behalf, I would strongly recommend all students to take a shot and use the opportunity for an abroad experience during the study. II mahdavi.hesam@outlook.com II

I spent my sixth semester in Bali to broaden my personal skills and to get new architectural input, far away from the western world. The courses at Udayana University were very interesting and enriching. The exchange program gave me a unique change of perspective and opened up a new world of architecture influenced by Balinese tradition. My expectations were exceeded and I was able to immerse myself in "the island of gods". Between temples and rice fields I explored the traditional way of life of the open-minded Balinese. Start the day with a surf session, explore the island on a scooter, find your inner self through yoga, enjoy the national dish Nasi Goreng in a warung for only 1.50€ - that's life in Bali. II lara.tekneyan@googlemail.com II

I spent my internship from March to July 2019 at the interior design studio "Kolenik Design" in Amsterdam. The company consists of a small international team and focuses mainly on private living, but also takes on projects in the hotel and hospitality field. Right from the beginning I was allowed to participate in the design process. Other tasks were: Drawing details, creating 2D and 3D models, preparing presentations, creating material collages and much more. Amsterdam is a beautiful city. I especially liked the museums, the many different events and spending time in one of the parks on Sundays. I am very happy to have had the chance to live in Amsterdam for a while. I spent my internship with the German facade company Gebrüder Schneider Fensterfabrik GmbH & Co. KG in London. I joined an international and young site management and project management team on an impressive skyscraper project called Newfoundland. Most of the time I assisted in site logistics and quality management and I also gained insight in how to cooperate with other companies on big projects. I also got the chance to improve my English skills and got to know a completely different lifestyle in a cultural divers megacity. I would highly recommend spending an internship abroad - it surley was one of the most exciting experiences in my life and I got to know many lovely and open-minded people from all over the world. II daniela-yvonne.heigl@stud.hs-coburg.de II

During my internship semester, I was part of “Müller Sigrist Architects” in Zurich, Switzerland for six months. I was welcomed in a very friendly manner and immediately felt at home. During this time I mainly helped with upcoming competitions. I was particularly inspired by the strong team spirit and I was able to gain a lot of experience for my further studies. If I had the opportunity to do an internship in Switzerland again, I would do it any time.  II anna.friedrich@stud.hs-coburg.de II
